Shellingford Crossroads Quarry SSSI
Shellingford Crossroads Quarry is one of a number of sites in Oxfordshire where quarrying has left important geological exposures which are of great value in the understanding of geological history. This quarry has an extensive section of a variety of Corrallian rocks with fossils of corals and bivalves.
