This site is an area of woodland next to the River Swere. Part of the site is wet woodland with alder and wetland wildflowers below such as marsh marigold. Wet woodland is a national priority for nature conservation. There is very little woodland in this part of Oxfordshire and the site provides valuable habitat for woodland birds.
